today we had to make a poster about something (anything) about the environment. out group did a poster that had a image of a post apocalyptic london with a red sky, the river themes had dried up and the houses of parlement destroyed. some green text said "We dont want this, Do you?" and a line under the image saying "for more information visit www.XXXXXXX.com" I used photoshop to make the poster. the original image had a grey sky and didnt look very "eye catching" so we Tinted the sky to a dark red. we originaly where going to have a planet with a cloudy, dark purple surrounding. We did have some trouble though because towards the end we noticed that the text made the image look like it was something about aliens. but it was to late to roll back so far.
i did notice that our poster seemed to grab the atention of most teachers so i asume it had something to do with the text. mainley because they all mentioned to text makeing it look like a alien poster.
Other groups made posters like the earth melting with a thermomiter explodeing on the side. they talked about how global warming effects our plannet and i commented that "it looks like the earth is melting because of the icecaps and global warming" Another group got a image of two yellow birds and overlayed text reading "by 2020 over 500 species of animals could be extinced because of Climate change" One thing i found grabbed me in there poster was the fact that the birds where on a branch, on a solid black background. did i mention the birds where bright yellow?
We used photoshop for our poster. We used the elipticle marque tool alot to get into those hard corners but i did notice that i was doing alot of the work for it. i think i should let other people do the work next time and give them my insight to help them develop in useing photoshop and most image manipulation programs. this has been my brief evaluation of the work we did last week as there was little to talk about. but from what we where told the next blog post is going to be BIG and stuffed with information.

What we did today
Hello today we where working in town/ Cambridge. today we went out and Vox popped people. We where working on "Child Obesity" and asked around 6-8 People. it was fun an i think we did very well. we had a plan that we should wait around in a area that alot of people walked passed. after we where all set up we waited for a variety of different people to walk passed. we had a large groupe of people with some very smart answers to our questions. I was useing the boomstick today and useing the microphone. we could have got more interviews but alot of the people that walked passed where drunk/ exited. ( Adding More)

What we did last Thursday
Sorry for the late post... Had no Internet acces. Last week we learnt about Foxpopping (is that correct?). We learnt to have the camera down not to intimidate the person whome you are asking the questions, and to always keep the microphone out of shot. We also got to use boom sticks... But our group didn't get to because there wearent egnough. With fox popping we also learnt that on the cammera the person you are filming shoul be about 2/3 of the way up and have room to talk (so if faceing left have there head to the right of the shot)

Homework (iPhone)
Hello this is my homework.
I lost the sheet but maneged to find out the work via a friend. So I guess I should start. Hello I am Robert, I like to listen to lots of music and my faveorite class is probably anything along the lines of metal or electropop. When I do watch tv I focus on news (Sky news) and comedy (Comedy central). I have recently started reading the Death Note books, they are about a boy with a book and if your name is put in the book you die of a heart attack unless another cause of death is specified. In the form of previous Creative/media items I attended two animations courses where we made stop motion films, I have used animation programs for many years and I am also very handy with a camera, last year I was the camera man for a thing called "BBC School Report". In my free time I like to play video games. Script addons for a game called "Garry's Mod" and mess around with Photoshop. I also enjoy building and destroying items (take a Bridge building computer game, I will build a huge bridge and a train will cross it, i will keep adding weight onto the train until the bridge colapses.) Oh and I LOVE physics demos and items that utilise something called "PhysX" (video to be atached with a recent edit) and I like to make YouTube videos overall.

Todays Camera Work
Hello. today we did some camera work towards the end. we worked on color tuning and white balance and worked out that the sun makes stuff outside "Blue" because of the rays. and we learnt how to correct that issue. it was fun and interesting and i got put with 2 nice people. we filmed 5 buildings from a lower angle to give the mood of the building being "Big" and "Intimidating" just a little side note, i have the design for the blog set in my mind.
Blog is now open.
Hallo thar. I Have just made a new blog for my CRaM work.
